Parents Association

The Parents Association is made up from Parents of children attending the school. The aim of the group is to support the objectives and ambitions of Stepping Stones Special School for Children with Autism and Complex Needs and all those attending within the school environment – this includes Principal, teachers and pupils. An open line of communication exists between the School Principal and the PA on aspects and matters relevant to the School and students. Typically the PA supports the running of the school in terms of fund raising, information and opinion gathering, as well as representing a voice of Parents. Overall participation in the PA is less of an “Association” and more of a cordial “Parent group” where a range of matters can be discussed in a positive and relaxed environment. Participation in the PA is valuable, inclusive and rewarding with one Goal always- to make sure those days spent in Stepping Stones can by remembered by our children as the “best days of your life”!
